Installing the Kaspersky seems easy. But installing the software after formating the system or reinstalling after uninstalling the software may seems difficult for some users. The method of reinstalling varies from the steps of first time installation. If the product is a 3 user license, chances of getting errors like ‘You have exceeded the maximum number of application copies that can be installed with one license’ is common. So here are the steps to install the software properly.
1. Log on to https://support.kaspersky.com/PersonalCabinet
2. Enter user name and password (For User name & password, please check the mail that you received from Kaspersky Labs while registering the product for the first time).
3. Click on ‘Manage activation codes and key files’, there you can create a keyfile for your Kaspersky Product. Now you have the key file.
4.Disconnect the Internet from the computer. Install the software as usual.
5. Enter the Activation code – Then the software shows an error as it is not connected to the net. Below that there is a browse button. Browse the key file and enter.
6.Once the installation is completed, connect to the net and update the first time itself.
